Add a bit of colorful culture to your tree with our festive gourds! From canteens to musical instruments, gourds have been used for thousands of years by people the world over. The unique life cycle of gourds results in a variety of unusually shaped fruits with hard "shells". When dried, gourds offer an artist a natural canvas with depth and texture. The gourd is a favorite medium for African artists and our ornaments are etched by hand and dyed with natural pigments in Kenya.
Each set includes one of each color (yellow, green, red) though mother nature ensures that each ornament is unique and shapes as well as etchings will vary from set to set.
