In the small mining community of Walsenburg, Colorado, jewelry designer Joan Eagle creates timeless pieces which transcend geographical and cultural barriers. Silver charms from Thailand and Indonesia blend seamlessly with agate from Montana, Arizona turquoise and Swarovski crystal from Austria. Constantly looking for unusual stones and beads, Eagle and her designers have the uncanny ability to locate rare antique glass beads crafted in Europe, some dating to the 1800s. Her intricate and beautifully color-coordinated designs are crafted under the name “Chipita”.
This necklace features cut green opal and amethyst beads as well as Swarovski crystals in green and purple, and silver seed beads. Earrings to match also available.
Each piece is hand-made, so individual designs vary slightly.
