In the small mining community of Walsenburg, Colorado, jewelry designer Joan Eagle creates timeless pieces which transcend geographical and cultural barriers. Silver charms from Thailand and Indonesia blend seamlessly with agate from Montana, Arizona turquoise and Swarovski crystal from Austria. Constantly looking for unusual stones and beads, Eagle and her designers have the uncanny ability to locate rare antique glass beads crafted in Europe, some dating to the 1800s. Her beautiful designs, crafted under the name “Chipita”, have graced the pages of Elle, Vogue and InStyle magazine as well as the famous earlobes and necks of celebrities like Cher and Joan Collins.
This necklace features three strands of tiny silver beads, each a slightly different length so that they separate. Each strand also incorporates a larger silver button bead resulting in a really gorgeous design.
Each piece is hand-made, so individual designs vary slightly.
