On the island of Java, the artisans of Garut harvest a native plant to create our unusual bags. Similar to the rice plant and called Osar by the locals, the roots of the plant possess an exotic aroma similar to cedar wood. The roots are cut and dried, then finely woven with colored thread on traditional weaving machines. The result is a completely unique treat for the eyes and nose!
The fragrance of the bag will slowly fade but the beauty never will. Cotton lined with zip closure and hardwood handles.
