The province of Capiz has long been known for its mother of pearl shells which have been used extensively in creating artistic pieces such as this platter. The platter incorporates square pieces of capiz glued together to create a woven shell look. A very delicate and beautiful piece. Can be used to serve foods but must be hand washed.
