Set of 3 kikoys are the latest Out of Africa and what fun they are!
Manufactured in the most beautiful of colors, of a vibrancy that is only found in Africa. Originally a Set of 3 kikoy was a traditional men’s garment from the East coast of Africa, notably Kenya, the Set of 3 kikoy has since evolved into garments for all ages, sizes and sexes! We’ve taken the process a step further to create vibrant home décor items such as these kikoy journals.
Set of 3 kikoys are made from 100% cotton, grown in East Africa and spun in Kenya. This cotton is softened; the yarn is then dyed with eco-certified dyes from Europe, ensuring a fastness that the old traditional dyes did not have. This is very important work in Africa, as the women are able to take it home and accomplish a task and earn an income without leaving their children.
Comes as a set of three journals, one of each color.
