Importu is committed to achieving total customer satisfaction. Our no-hassle return policy makes it more convenient than ever to return an item for any reason for a full refund. For all types of returns (damaged, wrong item, or other), please fill out our . Please read the following information regarding our return policies and practices before filling out this form. The following information can also be found on the back of your invoice.



Damaged items.

You must fill out the online return form or otherwise contact us within 10 days of receipt of a damaged item.

Keep all original packing materials. Don't throw out the box or any of the padding material such as peanuts or paper. If these items are discarded we may not be able to issue a refund.

If we can replace the item, we will send the replacement within 2-3 business days of your contacting us. If we cannot replace the item, we will provide a full refund including any shipping costs. If the item is backordered, we will provide an estimated time of arrival and let you choose between a refund or replacement.

We will notify you via e-mail of your refund once we have received the returned item. 



Returns due to incorrect item or quantity shipped.

If we sent you the wrong item or wrong quantity of an item we will send you a return shipping label at no cost that you can use to return the item(s) to Importu.

Please pack the item(s) carefully in its original packing materials.

Simply call DHL and they will pick up the package at no charge to you.

We will ship the correct item(s) within 2-3 business days of your contacting us. 




All Other Returns.

You may return an item(s) within 30 days of receipt in its original condition. Items returned after 30 days are subjected to a 15% re-stocking fee as long as the item has not be discontinued. If an item has been discontinued, there are no refunds beyond 30 days and the item will be returned to you.

You must provide shipping costs for returns. We now have two options for shipping a return:

1. You can select a shipping service that allows you to track packages (DHL, UPS, FedEx, USPS) and ship the item to us yourself. In the event that a package is lost, you must provide tracking information. If you cannot provide tracking information, we cannot issue a refund.

2. Take advantage of the reduced DHL shipping rates available to Importu and have a shipping label mailed to you. This service includes full insurance coverage. If you select this option you will receive a quote for this service via email. There is no obligation to use this service.

You must safely pack the item with the original packing materials, regardless of return method. If a return or exchange item is damaged due to poor packing, we cannot issue a credit or refund. For this reason, we strongly recommend insuring the returned item for it's full retail value if you are shipping the item to us yourself. Insurance is included in the Importu return service.




Refunds and credits.

If you are entitled to a refund you will be notified via email when your account has been credited. Please note that it may take up to 3 billing cycles for a refund to show up on your credit card account.

If you select importu store credit, it will generally be available within 24 hours of completing the return.
